2.    ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATION  .

3.    AGE ELIGIBLITY :•The age of candidate should be between 18 to 28 years as on 01-01-2015 . Relaxation of upper age limit for APST candidates is given up to maximum of 5 (five) years .

4.    DATE OF RECRUITMENT:
i)    Receipt of applications : The application forms accompanied by duly attested copies of certificates of educational qualification , proof of age as per school certificate/Admit card/Birth registration certificate, Caste/Tribe certificate , employment exchange registration certificate of A.P., self addressed envelope with postal stamp worth Rs.5/- and three recent passport size photographs with self-signature on back will be received w.e.f 19•01•2015 at PHQ on all working days. A Treasury Challan of Rs. 10/- for APST candidates and Rs.40 for general candidates in favour of Assistant Inspector General of Police (E), P.H. Q. ltanagar under Head of Accounts '0055' Police, should be also enclosed. The application forms can either be sent by ordinary post or directly submitted by hand at PHQ ltanagar.

ii) Last date of receipt of applications : 10-02-2015.  No application shall be accepted after expiry of last date of submission i.e., 10-02-2015 up to 1600 hrs.
NB: The candidates will be required to bring along with the original documents I testimonials submitted along with application form at the time of interview for verification & authentication. The candidature shall be summarily rejected on non-production of original documents during scrutiny
5.    a) WRITTEN EXAMINITION . The eligible candidates will be put through written test in the following subjects.

NB:-

1) The written examination will be of Multiple Choice on OMR answer scripts.

iv) The typing speed test will be qualifying in nature and no marks will be given. However, candidates failing in typing speed test will be summarily rejected.

5)  INTERVIEW:  - The candidates scoring  higher marks in written test I computer test in order of merit will be called for interview/viva voce at the ratio of 1:3 with respect to the vacancies. The date, time and place will be announced separately by the police department.
Total marks for the interview will be 40.

i) The  final  merit  list  of  the  selected  candidates  will  be  made  on  the  basis  of  overall  marks  secured  in  the  written test /computer test and interview put together .

ii)  MEDICAL EXAMINATION/CHARACTER & ANTECEDENT VERIFICATION:- Appointment of provisionally selected candidates shall be subject to production of medical fitness certificate from Medical Officer of Govt. Hospital and satisfactorily verification of character and antecedent.

Restriction of Age:

Applicants need to ensure that they are neither aged below the minimum age of 20 years, nor aged above the maximum age of 30 years as calculated on 1st July, 2014. However, there shall be a valid relaxation of age in case of reserved candidates.

Qualification Required:

Interested aspirants, who are willing to appear in this examination, need to be a Bachelor’s Degree holder in any discipline awarded by a Government documented Institute or University or any qualification considered equivalent to thereto and recognized by the Central Government.
